Fireflies in the Sky

This one has a beautiful use of a monochromatic set of colors. Having the piece be entirely constructed of purples, I think, helped bring this one to life. It has a lot of potential but I feel it all falls flat with the bottle. The girl had some time spent on her and it shows. She looks pretty well defined and detailed enough to look finished for this piece. However, the bottle looks very unrefined and almost flat. There is shading and light that starts to indicate the form but near the top it just comes across as flat instead of round as it should be. If it weren't for the water rippling around it near the bottom, and as well the glass bottom, I wouldn't really be able to tell that she was inside the bottle. I think that she needs a bit of that shading and highlight across her just to subtly send her back instead of having her be so prominent in the foreground. Just keep these things in mind when working fast! When you think you're finished make sure to go over and check the entire piece one more time.
